Holiday Cheer for Survivors

How can one bring a little Holiday Cheer to the survivors of Domestic Violence with Covid restrictions still in place? Natasha Z, a High School Senior wrestled with this idea, sad that for the second year the traditional Holiday celebration with Santa could not take place. The solution? Gift bags and gingerbread houses! With the women and children still living off site, the gingerbread houses will give the children a creative way to enjoy the Holiday spirit – what a great idea!
Families for Families believes all people deserve to live free from the repercussions of domestic violence. Through raising public awareness, advocacy, and direct support to survivors, Families for Families aims to helping women and children rebuild their lives after violence, while instilling an ethic of service in our youth.
